In this position, you’ll work 7a-7p, PRN, with our Jim Thorpe Nursing team providing exceptional care to those who have entrusted INTEGRIS Health with their healthcare needs. The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment/re-assessments
  • Development of the plan of care
  • Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
  • Evaluation of patient care interventions
  • Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students

The RN reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients, utilizing the identified Behavior Management Technique System.

This position may have additional physical demand or respiratory fit test requirements. Follow standard precautions to minimize exposure to infections, blood, body fluids, chemicals, and electrical equipment.

Qualifications
  • Current licensure as an RN in Oklahoma or a multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) state
  • Current BLS certification (or complete within 30 days of hire)
  • Effective communication in English
  • Department-specific competencies during orientation

Additional qualifications for specific departments include:

  • Hospice: Current CPR, CHPN preferred
  • Radiology: ACLS certification
  • Employee Health: Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, proof of insurance
  • INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record
  • Emergency Department: PALS (within 12 months), ACLS (within 6 months)
