WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse Level I for inpatient care in Wheeling, WV.

The role delivers nursing care through the nursing process with accountability and independent clinical judgment, providing patient care in an inpatient hospital setting. The incumbent must demonstrate advanced beginner level knowledge to care for patients across the lifespan, assess patient data, and ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• One year of registered nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.
• Promotes effective communication among interprofessional team members & healthcare consumers.
