Coordinates clinical activities of the Inpatient Wound Care Program, including organization, planning, implementation, evaluation, and providing care according to hospital and nursing standards.
Minimum Education: Graduate of a Program in Discipline - Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Required Skills: Ability to work independently, address wound care consults timely, teach staff and patients, assess skin integrity, prevent skin breakdown, stage and assess wounds, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 6 months.
Required Licenses: Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing.
Minimum Work Experience: 1-2 years related experience preferred; 2 years of experience in wound, ostomy, and continence care required.
