Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. Local pay is $56.55/hour (W2).

Responsibilities include assisting providers with diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures in interventional radiology, pre-procedure assessments, medication administration, monitoring, and post-procedure education in a non-emergency setting. Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted CA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of one year of recent Special Procedures nursing experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.
• AHA BLS Certification
• MAB or CPI
• LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)
• Must complete the LA County Employee Health Clearance before assignment start date
• Copy of current PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Nursing Specialty: Special Procedures-Intervention Radiology (IR)

RN Duties & Responsibilities:

• RNs will assist providers with diagnostic, therapeutic, and minimally invasive procedures for patients in a controlled, non-emergency setting.
• RNs will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures in areas such as interventional radiology and vascular procedures.
• RNs will be performing pre-procedure assessments, obtaining and verifying patient histories and consents, administering medications and moderate sedation in accordance with hospital policy, monitoring patients throughout procedures, assisting physicians and technologists during interventions, and providing post-procedure recovery and patient education.
