Job summary

Truman Medical Centers is seeking a PRN Interventional Psychiatry/ TMS/Spravato Ambulatory Nurse for the BH Ambulatory Clinic. The role supports afternoon sessions, coordinates care with psychiatrists, and handles pre/post‑procedure tasks in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have Missouri RN licensure, BCLS/BLS, and flexibility to adjust hours. BSN and behavioral health experience are preferred, with a focus on compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri RN license or eligibility.
• Active BCLS/BLS certification.
• Flexibility to work varying hours based on TMS/Spravato schedule.
• BSN preferred; experience in Critical Care or Behavioral Health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of TMS/Spravato treatment with the psychiatrist and care team.
• Educate patients and families about TMS/Spravato with empathy and clarity.
• Ensure all assessments and consent forms are completed.
• Work with UHBH psychiatry staff to plan pre- and post-procedure care.
• Obtain insurance authorizations and organize logistics for each session.
• Assist in the delivery of TMS/Spravato within your clinical scope.
• Uphold the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
