Job summary

Southern Pain & Spine is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a surgical and procedural setting in Athens, GA. The role emphasizes patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with physicians within a collaborative team.

The schedule is Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, with no weekend hours and excellent benefits. An ADN is required, BSN preferred, and current RN license with BLS is essential.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories, perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes requiring intervention.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members.
• Provide safe, therapeutic care per policies and protocols.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment and assist during procedures as assigned.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; uphold infection-control practices.
• Operate C-Arm/fluoroscopy under surgeon guidance when required.
• Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
