Job summary

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered NYS RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Brings patient to exam room, takes vital signs, and documents in EMR.
• Review and update medication list in EMR for provider review.
• Complete referrals and tracks patient compliance.
• Review prescriptions electronically and transmit to providers for review.
• Obtain patient consent for procedures.
• Educate patients regarding medications and home care procedures.
• Maintain safe, clean patient care areas and equipment.
