Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse to join our RN team. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, working with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position requires an accredited nursing education, current Texas RN license, and BLS certification, with BSN preferred. The nurse will report to the Nurse Manager and participate in ongoing professional development and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• BSN preferred; additional departmental certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Adhere to unit standards of care and support hospital mission and values.
• Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families, and team members to promote a collaborative environment.
• Be accountable for your performance and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience.
