Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold a Texas RN license or be eligible, and maintain current BLS certification. RN experience of 12 months is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by communication, interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant other education process.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and evaluates understanding of information.

• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.

• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
