Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team, leadership in practice, and ongoing professional development.

New graduates receive mentoring while contributing to patient outcomes and satisfaction. The RN will participate in unit governance, quality improvement, and patient experience initiatives, while coordinating care for complex patient populations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of RN experience – Demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Transformational Leadership and full partner on the care team.
• Lead interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care and smooth transitions.
• Apply nursing process to meet clinical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Demonstrate initiative to improve clinical practice within the specialty area.
• Delegate appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient care.
