Job summary

The RN will engage in continuing professional development, nursing leadership opportunities, and patient-centered care, while adhering to nursing standards and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associates Degree required.
• One year of RN experience; new graduates referred to the RN Residency Program.
• Preferred: National certification in clinical specialty.
• Preferred: Bachelor of Nursing Degree.
• Preferred: One year experience in Long Term Care.
• Membership in a professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and participate in discharge planning.
• Actively participate in shared governance and unit councils.
• Document care and monitor patient responses to interventions.
