Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit on a part-time schedule (24 hours weekly) with daytime shifts from 7am to 7pm. The role emphasizes direct patient care from admission through discharge and contributing to a collaborative on-shift team.

Applicants must hold a current Indiana RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, NIHSS stroke certification within 10 weeks, and meet unit-specific requirements.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure. New graduate RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
