Job summary

Murfreesboro Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our fast-paced, patient-focused rehab team. We provide acute inpatient rehab services with a 12-hour shift schedule (day or night) and options for full-time, part-time, or PRN roles.

Located within TrustPoint Hospital, our facility specializes in neuro and ortho rehabilitation, with extensive therapy and advanced technologies. Competitive pay, referral bonuses, and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current RN license as required by the state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required per state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Ensure orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
• Assess patient status and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
• Demonstrate universal precautions in direct patient care.
• Administer medications per orders and document counts.
• Exhibit therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Coordinate unit activities and communicate with staff and patients.
