Job summary

Murfreesboro Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our fast-paced rehabilitation team. Located in Murfreesboro, we provide neuro and ortho therapies in an inpatient setting and offer comprehensive benefits to support our staff.

Under the supervision of nursing and clinical staff, you will assist with patient care, monitor vital signs, maintain a safe environment, and support treatment goals through activities and daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CNA certification or state CNA training is required.
• Experience in behavioral health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical or therapeutic care under direction of nursing or clinical staff.
• Ensure patient safety and a positive environment under supervision.
• Perform patient observation rounds as required (every 15 minutes as needed).
• Assist with transferring, lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
• Take and document vital signs and measurements as assigned.
• Engage patients in activities to support rehabilitation goals.
• Communicate with patients, families, and health care team.
