About Mount Carmel Dublin:

Mount Carmel Dublin will be an innovative medical ambulatory campus directly tailored to the needs of the Dublin community and surrounding suburbs. Services provided:

  • 24-bay emergency department
  • 60 acute inpatient beds
  • 4 operating rooms
  • Level 1 cardiac capability
  • Advanced imaging, and other outpatient testing
  • Attached MOB

The attached medical office building will provide a community education space in addition to clinic space for:

  • Primary Care, Neurology
  • Cardiology
  • Vascular
  • Other independent specialists

Mount Carmel plans to extend its community health and well-being programs into the Dublin community as well.

This position will be hired to staff Mount Carmel Dublin. While construction is underway, the majority of training will take place at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s located at 500 S Cleveland Ave, Westerville, OH 43081. We are expecting Mount Carmel Dublin to open Spring of 2025.

About the Unit:

The Inpatient Unit at Mount Carmel Dublin is a 30-bed, state of the art, patient care area designed to provide the ultimate patient experience. All thirty beds, which are telemetry capable, are dedicated to the Medical/Surgical and Observation levels of care. Patient care assignments will be based on the acuity levels of the patients.


The patient rooms have been created to promote a holistic healing environment. We encourage family participation throughout the stay. There is the ability to utilize tele-health to enhance care needs. Multidisciplinary Rounds (MDRs) will occur on a daily basis to ensure that all patient needs are addressed and met. Ultimately, we want to ensure our patients are discharged home in a timely manner, to allow an expedient return to their normal daily routine. Our patients should experience our Vision, which is to be “the most trusted health partner for life.”

About the job:

OurNurse Managersserve as unit-level leaders that plan, organize, staff, direct, and ensure collaborative multidisciplinary patient care delivery. The Nurse Manager provides coaching, direction, and supervision of their assigned unit(s) and all staff members.

What you will do:

  • Direct the planning and implementation of department education/training to promote professional competence/growth and ensure optimal patient care.
  • Ensure financial performance and profitability through the development and monitoring of the operating and capital budgets for designated areas/units.
  • Direct all quality monitoring for designated areas, focusing on optimal patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous quality and process improvement program for unit services.
  • Develop departmental standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and protocols. Maintains awareness of department/service area operations and potential for problems through regular rounding and interaction with colleagues, leaders, and patients.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate from school of nursing; BSN or Master's in healthcare related field or MBA with Health-related focus.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent and relevant clinical experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to assess, develop and mentor a patient care team
  • Current BLS/CPR
