Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide individualized patient care using the nursing process. You will work in a fast-paced setting, rotating days and nights, with a focus on teamwork and patient-family communication.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred, with opportunities for residency and ongoing training as part of Sanford's care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA considered. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board where practice occurs and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with a motivated team to deliver high-quality patient care.

• Fast paced job with a focus on teamwork.
• Treat Neuro medical and Neurosurgery patients as well as a mix of a variety of general Med-Surg patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
