Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking an RN Inpatient Float for full-time (0.9 FTE) night shifts (6:45pm–7:15am) across Quad City campuses. Earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus with additional float and shift differentials and a competitive benefits package.

The role supports Medical-Surgical inpatient units and reports to the Clinical Resource Team. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, following ANA ethics and UnityPoint Health nursing models.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an RN program.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards of care.
• Consults appropriate resources within the hospital to provide specialized education.
• Demonstrates knowledge that patient and workplace safety is a priority by preventing errors, accidents and infections and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.
• Promptly completes documentation to assure an accurate legal record of patient’s care.
• Continues professional development and involvement in professional activities that enhance nursing practice by sharing knowledge through networking and research.

This role supports all Medical-Surgical inpatient units across the three Quad City campuses, offering opportunities to broaden clinical expertise while collaborating with diverse care teams.
