UW Health, the #1 hospital in Wisconsin, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for providing dialysis support and hemodialysis treatments at various locations in Madison. The ideal candidate will have an RN license, relevant experience, and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care whilst enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Work Schedule:
90% FTE, night shift. Every other weekend. On-call responsibilities. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered. This position includes a shift/weekend differential. You will travel to multiple locations/hospitals in the Madison area in addition to the primary location at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
Pay:
Additional components of compensation may include:
- Evening & night shift differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night, and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked
- Overtime
- On-call pay

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Provide intermittent dialysis and support services to patients of all ages for continuous renal replacement therapy and peritoneal dialysis.
- Provide hemodialysis treatments at the bedside for patients requiring intensive or intermediate care throughout University Hospital, American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Veterans Hospital, and Meriter Hospital.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including patient education, to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Six months nursing experience in inpatient units, radiology, hemodialysis, or cardiovascular labs, or successful completion of UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
- RN license in Wisconsin or a compact state.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months.
- Relevant certifications preferred.
