Job summary

Sanford Health in Weston, WI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR). You will join a collaborative surgical team and provide high-quality cardiovascular care on a fast-paced unit.

The role requires at least two years of CVOR experience, an active RN license, and readiness to participate in a call rotation. The position is full-time with day shifts and a 40-hour work week, with a sign-on bonus up to $25,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA credentials may be required.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state; multi-state licensure if in an NLC state.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and nursing interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Cares for patients through all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

Bring your Operating Room expertise to a highly specialized Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. Join a collaborative group of surgical professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with at least two years of Operating Room experience who is ready to expand their skills and make a meaningful impact in cardiovascular surgical care. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled surgical team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, generally 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
• Monday through Friday
• Participation in a weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation is required
• Must be able to maintain a 30-minute response time when assigned on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
