Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Behavioral Health Float team at Princeton House Behavioral Health in Princeton, NJ. The RN will be floated to multiple units and work the day shift, providing comprehensive nursing care in a secure setting with daily psychiatrist visits and around-the-clock supervision.

Qualified candidates will have a BSN or be pursuing it, hold an NJ RN license, and have at least 15 months of RN experience with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required, or pursuing.
• RN with an Associate’s Degree with greater than 5 years of clinical experience may be considered.
• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care for patients in the behavioral health setting.
• Implements nursing plans in line with policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Evaluates patient responses and documents care delivery for continuous improvement.
• Accurately enters medication orders and administers medications in the unit.
