Qualifications

• Six months nursing experience in Inpatient Units and Central Float (Adult & Pediatric), Venous Access Team, Radiology, Hemodialysis, Cardiovascular Laboratory or current UW Health Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit.
• Two years of nursing experience in eICU.
• Current RN license in WI or compact license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Nursing credentials or specialty certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Elevate your nursing career on a dynamic unit caring for Gynecology, Urology, Plastics, and ENT patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; support and educate patients undergoing specialized procedures like free flap monitoring for breast reconstruction and post-surgical care.
• Experience with airway management including new tracheostomies; opportunity to move toward critical care.
