Job summary

The Blue Venture Fund is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in administering injections in Washington. This per diem, part-time role involves safe injection administration, patient education, and meticulous documentation in a clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has an active WA RN license, BLS certification, and at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in outpatient or acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, outpatient clinic or hospital preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer injections (IM and SC) following protocols.
• Assess patients prior to injections for safety and appropriateness.
• Educate patients on injection purpose, benefits and risks.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and document responses.
• Maintain accurate records of injections and patient outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and proper storage of meds and supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay updated on best practices, medications and safety regulations.
