Job summary

Veterans in Healthcare in Little Rock, AR, is seeking an Infusion Therapy nurse to support patient preparation and assist physicians with procedures and minor surgeries. You will also perform diagnostic tests and provide patient education in the clinic, while maintaining equipment and liaising with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and other providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate holds a current AR RN license (or multi-state license including AR), CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license in good standing (AR or multi-state including AR).
• CPR certification is required.
• Chemo certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required if working in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and assist physicians with procedures and minor surgeries.
• Perform diagnostic tests and provide patient education in the clinic.
• Maintain equipment and act as liaison between physicians and outside agencies including hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs and other physician offices.
• Support other medical staff to maintain patient flow.

Supports other medical staff members as necessary to maintain patient flow.

Other Information
