Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking an RN Infusion Nurse to support doctors and patients with infusion therapy administration and education. You will perform IV starts, port access, medication preparation, and patient education while collaborating with office staff and traveling to other locations as needed.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, safety, and adherence to policies, with opportunities to grow within a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience.
• Current nursing license for applicable state.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion.
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills.

Job description

As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education
• Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies
• Access PIV & Ports
• Medication preparation (Mixing) and Medication administration
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care
• Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations
