Job summary

Pure Infusion is seeking an RN Infusion Nurse to support doctors and patients through patient care management, organization, and communication. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible therapies as ordered, with patient education included.
• Start/Discontinue IV access for infusion therapies.
• Access peripheral IV lines and ports as needed.
• Prepare medications (mixing) and administer medications.
• Occasional travel to other location(s).
• Participate in performance-improvement activities to enhance care delivery.

Job description

As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education
• Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies
• Access PIV & Ports
• Medication preparation (Mixing) and Medication administration
• Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion
• Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care
• Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience
• Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations

Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements

• Current nursing license for applicable state
