Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across the lifespan, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Within established policies, the nurse will coordinate care, maintain standards of practice, and work with assigned staff to ensure high-quality outcomes. New graduates are welcome; GA RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Georgia RN license and BLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred.
• Active licensure and ongoing professional development expected.

Qualifications

Education

Work Experience

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
