Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic’s Martin North Hospital in Stuart, FL as an Infusion RN. Provide infusion services including chemotherapy, antibiotics, labs, and patient education on a days shift, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, in a cancer care setting.

You will implement and update patient care plans, monitor conditions, administer medications, and coordinate discharge needs while collaborating with a world-class team focused on exemplary patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
• ONS Chemo/Bio course completed within two years of hire if employed on units where chemo is administered.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience.
• Cancer specific certification or demonstrate ongoing qualifying education within the timeframe of the facilities accreditation cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
