Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse who independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients according to physician orders and established guidelines.

The role requires GA RN license in good standing and BLS certification; a BSN is preferred and ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications are advantageous; two years RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience as an RN preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
