Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Infusion Center team. You will deliver patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and support high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The RN will follow nursing standards, may float to areas other than the assigned service, and must meet licensure and BLS requirements to ensure safe practice and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN licensure or active multistate license.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN desirable; articulate nursing theory and practice.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per department standards.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.

What you will do in this role:

The Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge and skills in the care of patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients. The Registered Nurse may be asked to float to areas other than his/her assigned service area, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Registered Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center. The Registered Nurse performs all procedures in accordance with all standards and policies of the Infusion Center Department of Rose Medical Center. Perform Lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating criticals as defined. Complete competency as required. Follow lab testing safety guidelines, maintenance and QC completion/documentation, and proficiency testing as assigned. Follow "good lab practice" in testing and initiate corrective action as issues occur with test system or result. Educational records (diploma or transcript) are mandatory for staff performing non-waived testing.

What qualifications you will need:

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable. Experience: Able to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.

Experience requirements are specific to positions and departments as appropriate.
