Job summary

Piedmont Cartersville is seeking an RN to provide infusion care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The role emphasizes teamwork and accountability within Piedmont's standards.

New graduates are eligible. Infusion and oncology experience are strongly preferred, with Georgia RN licensure and BCLS required. OCN encouraged; if not held, an ONS Provider Card must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• No experience required New Graduates of a nursing program eligible Required
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions Preferred
• Infusion experience strongly preferred
• Oncology experience strongly preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• PALS certification preferred
• OCN preferred; if not ONS Provider Card required within 180 days of hire
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
