Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking an RN Infection Control Specialist (Non-Exempt) to lead infection prevention activities, surveillance, and education at our Dayton facility. You will ensure regulatory compliance and evidence-based practices to minimize healthcare-associated infections in a busy clinical environment.

The role requires a BSN, at least 2 years of nursing experience, an Ohio RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred CE in infection control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control activities including surveillance, education, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The RN Infection Control Specialist (Non-Exempt) supports patient and staff safety by leading infection prevention and control activities, including surveillance, education, and regulatory compliance. This role ensures evidence-based practices are implemented to reduce healthcare-associated infections and maintain accreditation standards. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications
