Vibra Travels is seeking an Infection Control Registered Nurse (RN) to join our national travel program. You will work in hospital settings across the country, delivering infection prevention expertise and contributing to patient safety on every assignment.

Required: active RN license in state of employment, BLS, 1–2 years in infection control, strong knowledge of precautions, PPE, and NHSN reporting. Willingness to travel; driver’s license; excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job description

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking an Infection Control Registered Nurse RN to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience in hospital settings. Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent hospital infection control nursing experience required, 2 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of standard precautions, transmission-based precautions, PPE, hand hygiene, and infection prevention principles.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility policies, systems, and teams.
• Certification in Infection Control or CIC preferred.
• Experience with outbreak management.
• Familiarity with NHSN reporting, quality metrics, and regulatory surveys.
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
