Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full‑time role requires a NLN‑accredited nursing program graduate with an IL RN license and preferably a BSN, with about 1 year of acute care or ISCU experience.

Responsibilities include providing safe, compassionate ISCU care, planning with the nursing process, and mentoring unlicensed staff. Weekend rotation and rotating shifts are part of the schedule, with flexible pay based on expertise.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program required.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• 1 year acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit

• Location: Evanston, IL

• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

• Hours: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730, with weekend rotation

• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred

• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
