This position is typically an 8-week assignment. It is a leadership role in patient care, utilizing the Nursing Process within the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes. The RN exhibits cultural sensitivity, maintains involvement in strategic goals, and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability.
