Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time shifts (6am–6pm) across our Iowa communities. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents to ensure safety and quality of care.

Join our compassionate team and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers to deliver patient-centered care while adhering to infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Iowa; active or ability to activate in IA.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support unit operations to ensure quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and other team members for high-quality care.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
