Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Registered Nurse for Danville State Hospital to deliver professional nursing care, assess patients, and support physical, mental, and emotional health needs. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure safety in all settings.

The role is full-time, on-site 2nd shift (2:45 PM–11:15 PM) with a $1.25/hour shift differential, plus a starting salary of $88,982 annually.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN licensure is required.
• Temporary practice permit holders must obtain RN licensure within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments of consumers.
• Develop and adjust care plans per nursing standards and facility guidelines.
• Administer medications and monitor responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Follow infection control, safety, and crisis-prevention procedures.
• Provide direction and education to assigned staff.
