Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit. This full-time daytime role focuses on delivering holistic patient care using nursing processes, coordinating with care teams, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology to support patient outcomes.

Experience in operating room or critical care preferred; Georgia RN license required; BLS and ACLS certifications required. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license (NLC/eNLC multistate acceptable).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in operating room or critical care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit across life stages using nursing processes.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in the operating room or critical care setting.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• ACLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
