Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley Hospital in Yukon, OK is hiring a day shift, full-time Registered Nurse to join our patient-centered team. You will deliver competent, compassionate care using the nursing process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and reassessments of patients.
• Develop and implement the plan of care.
• Provide and document nursing interventions.
• Evaluate outcomes of care provided.
• Supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Mentor students and non-licensed personnel as appropriate.
• Report to the manager, director, or VP.
• May float to other units or participate in on-call status.
• Comply with infection control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process.May be required to float to other units. May be required to participate in on call status. This position requires population specific competencies.

• Assessment/re-assessments
• Development of the plan of care
• Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
• Provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
• The Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president
• This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
• Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.

• RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
