Job summary

INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a day shift, full-time Registered Nurse for weekends only to join our inpatient team. The role supports care delivery across a hospital unit, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices.

The position requires Oklahoma RN licensure or a multi-state license via eNLC and BLS certification. You will work with a collaborative team in a not-for-profit health system that values education and caregiver wellbeing.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in OK or eNLC
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess and reassess patient conditions using the nursing process.
• Develop and implement the plan of care.
• Provide and document patient care interventions.
• Evaluate outcomes of interventions.
• Supervise other licensed and non-licensed staff in care delivery.
• Mentor and guide students and junior staff as appropriate.
• Coordinate with the nurse manager or director.
• May float to other units and participate in on-call status.
• Comply with safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units. May be required to participate in on call status. This position requires population specific competencies.

The Registered Nurse's management of the delivery and documentation of patient care includes, but is not limited to:

• Assessment/re-assessments
• Development of the plan of care
• Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
• Provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
• The Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president
• This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
• Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.

Qualifications

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
