Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced RN to join our imaging services. You will provide direct patient care during imaging procedures, assist physicians, prepare specimens, and ensure accurate documentation and post-procedure education.

A strong emphasis is on safety, infection control, and patient communication. Eligible candidates have an approved RN program, active RN license, BCLS/CPR, and at least two years of nursing experience in a medical imaging

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program and current RN license.
• BCLS certification required; CPR, oxygen administration and IV therapy experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in a clinical setting; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for imaging procedures (CT, MR, US, radiography, mammography, nuclear medicine, cardi lab).
• Assist physicians and technologists; prepare patients and manage specimens from collection to reporting.
• Deliver post-procedure instructions and educate patients.
• Perform waived testing, IV venipuncture, EKG monitoring and basic respiratory support as needed.
• Maintain infection control, safety standards and accurate documentation.
