Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL, invites qualified nurses to join the Radiology unit on a PRN (as needed) basis. The role requires delivering high-quality nursing care in Radiology across procedures such as CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and general diagnostics.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and documenting activities. A minimum of five years in critical care and ACLS certification within the first year are preferred.

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and growth and development dimensions of the patient.
• Plans patient care utilizing the nursing and medical diagnosis.
• Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients.
• Evaluates patient status, nursing interventions and appropriateness of the nursing care plan.
• Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments.
• Prefer five years critical care experience.
• Must complete ACLS within the first year in position. Appropriate nursing competencies are maintained

Reports to the Imaging Supervisor. This job functions in a dynamic and varied role; the major goal is to provide quality nursing care to patients in Radiology: job performance requires the use of assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management skills; insures patient privacy and dignity; may function in the following areas: special procedures, general diagnostics, computerized tomography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound.
