Job summary

State of Delaware seeks an RN III for Psychiatric Nursing to provide comprehensive care in a 24/7 residential behavioral health setting. You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, manage illnesses and injuries, and ensure proper medication management and staff training.

Required are a Delaware RN license (or multi-state) and a minimum of two years in psychiatric nursing, with higher degrees offering additional qualification.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as a Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Nursing or higher nursing degree with experience.
• Delaware RN license or multi-state compact license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
• Develops, implements and/or reviews nursing care plans.
• Provides health care instruction and guidance to individuals and groups.
• Maintains effective working relationships with treatment team members.
• Prepares and submits records, reports and forms.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.
