Job summary

State of Vermont in Essex, VT is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the night shift to provide clinical assessment and nurse-led care. You will coordinate care with internal and external partners and administer prescribed treatments and medications, with on-duty supervision by RN III.

The role requires Vermont RN licensure with 2+ years of nursing experience (or 1+ year as RN I with Vermont eligibility); BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont or eligible via multi-state license and Vermont eligibility.
• Two (2) years or more of professional nursing experience, or one (1) year or more as RN I with State of Vermont.
• Preferred: BSN degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate all aspects of nursing care.
• Coordinate care with internal and external partners.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Provide on-duty supervision for professional and paraprofessional nursing staff (with RN III).
• Assist Nurse Educator & RN III in ongoing staff trainings.
