Job summary

FMOLHS Jackson Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care on the Cath Lab unit, following the hospital's standards.

You will work with physicians and the health care team, perform patient teaching and discharge planning, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

Requires MS RN license and BLS; rotation of shifts and OT may be required.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Mississippi RN license and BLS certification.
• Good oral and written communication; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to rotate shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care planning and direct nursing functions for patients.
• Administer medications and intravenous solutions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and reporting.
• Coordinate patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure safety.
