Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing patient care on the unit.
• Initiate and implement patient care plans.
• Assign nursing tasks appropriate to staff skill levels.
• Maintain standards of patient care and accurate documentation.
• Administer medications and IV solutions.
• Coordinate with ancillary departments and ensure supplies are available.
• Participate in infection-control and hospital safety programs.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality of information.
