Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a registered nurse to provide evidence-based nursing care to patients using the nursing process. You will lead other team members, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure care is age-appropriate and aligned with MUSC policies.

This role requires a BSN preferred, active SC RN license or compact, and BLS certification. The position is full-time, on-site, with day shifts and a focus on patient-family centered care and clinical

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RNs with an Associate or Diploma must enroll in BSN within two years and complete within four years.
• Minimum of one year of RN work experience.
• Current South Carolina RN license or compact state license.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process across assessment, Diagnoses, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Lead and direct assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Deliver patient/family-centered care focusing on physical, emotional and environmental needs.
• Coordinate care, health teaching, promotion, and evaluation of goals.
• Maintain a safe, respectful clinical environment and adhere to policies.
