Job summary

Texas Health is seeking an RN II for Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology at our Southwest Fort Worth campus. The role covers care for IR and diagnostic radiology patients, including MRI-related sedation support and procedures, across multiple service areas with a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The position is full-time, day shift, 40 hours weekly, with call requirements on weekends and holidays. Texas Health is Magnet-designated, offering strong patient care standards and opportunities

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• One (1) year experience as a clinical Registered Nurse or completion of an RN Residency program required
• RN licensure current or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
