WVU Medicine is seeking an RN II for 3South at Princeton Community Hospital to provide professional nursing care in an inpatient setting. You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes patient education, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The position requires a current RN license, BLS within 30 days, and less than 12 months of RN experience.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services are provided or a multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting using the nursing process.
• Create and implement plans of care including assessment, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety through appropriate resources and adherence to standards of care.
• Educate patients and families, adapting teaching to individual needs and development levels.
• Document accurately and conduct thorough patient assessments and handoffs.
• Apply evidence-based practice to nursing care and participate in patient-centered care activities.
