Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services are provided or a multi-state license via eNLC.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for patients in an inpatient hospital setting using the nursing process.
• Create and implement plans of care including assessment, diagnoses, interventions, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety through appropriate resources and adherence to standards of care.
• Educate patients and families, adapting teaching to individual needs and development levels.
• Document accurately and conduct thorough patient assessments and handoffs.
• Apply evidence-based practice to nursing care and participate in patient-centered care activities.
