University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN II-Infusion-PRN to provide infusion therapy, monitor patients, manage IV lines, and educate patients in a fast-paced Infusion Center. The role requires a valid RN license and at least one year of RN practice, with BSN preferred.

This is a part-time, day-shift position offering direct patient care, pre/post-procedure support, and adherence to nursing protocols.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed as RN for one year.
  • Two years RN experience in infusion or specified area preferred.
  • BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient before, during, and after IV therapy.
  • Determine venipuncture site and maintain IV lines and dressings.
  • Monitor for infections and adverse reactions; initiate emergency therapies.
  • Initiate, monitor, and terminate therapies including IV meds and blood products.
  • Provide education to patients and families on IV treatment and discharge instructions.
