Job summary

The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care under supervision. The role includes administering and monitoring treatments, and working within the clinical IV therapy expanded role where required.

You will maintain patient records, educate patients and families, participate in committees, and collaborate with the healthcare team. A valid LPN license and BLS within 90 days of hire are required.

Qualifications

  • Educate patients and family members according to plan of care.
  • Function in expanded IV therapy role per regulatory standards, if required.
  • Contribute to at least one committee/project to improve patient care or operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
